It is summer, and I landed a job at the nearby hospital. I will be working as a PCT to save some money this summer. I still want to be a van lifer, but I will wait until I graduate. I want my own space, so I plan to save some money to move out of my mom’s house. It will take time, so I might drive to and from school to save money. My current dorm room is $3,000, and that refund could come in handy. I have wanted my own space for a while now, so I am excited to start looking. I currently reside in Little Rock, Arkansas, and go to school in Conway, Arkansas. The drive is only about 30 minutes, and I only have in-person classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I live in the city, so I only need one bedroom. I would also love a studio apartment. For me, the size is essential. I hate excess space. I love homey styles. Everything has a place, so extra space is useless to me. What’s funny is that I never wanted an apartment in college. I wanted to live in my dorm until I graduated, but that date has moved. I have about two more years, so I want my place. When plans like this happen, I feel so grown up. I am 23 years old, but it doesn’t feel like it. I don’t even buy alcohol. I don’t feel I am old enough to drink (lol). It’s funny, but maybe it will kick in once I have my place. I couldn’t drink in my dorm room, and I lived with my mother, so it is time.
