Growing up in public school, you learn what you like and don’t like. It’s hard to fit in, and it’s hard to be yourself. In college, the same things happen because people from all over the world surround you. People with different styles, athletic, different backgrounds can be intimidating. I have found what I like, but I am still moving through the group of friends I want to be associated with. I love confident people who have goals. I love people who like to talk about their plans because I do. People who lift one another, rather than tearing them down 24/7. This is the reason I started blogging. I love telling people how I do things and getting opinions. Life should be like this, and we shouldn’t be scared to open up. Just be your true self because there are always people who enjoy the things you do.

Why are so many people not confident? Is it because of television, models, and the people around us? It takes a while to build confidence. Did you know that? For some, it never comes because that person won’t allow it. Confidence is nothing more than living your life without worries. To grow confident, you have to love yourself. You need to know yourself and the things you like. However old you are, you have had that long to get to know yourself. It’s scary, but it has to be done for you to be happy. When you learn to love yourself, that is when the confidence comes in.
